7. First Touches Seem Poorer
I played the demo with a friend who chose Tottenham as his team of choice in a game against AC Milan, and I watched as a ball was played into Jermain Defoe's feet. It subsequently hit his foot, bounced off of it and rolled to an AC Milan player who then launched an attack. We were bemused by the sheer poorness of his first touch; naturally there was mocking of the friend and slating of the game to follow. I decided to do some further research into this and found out that this was purpose-built into the game; the first touch system is in fact designed to be more natural and requires fine skill to use like a boss.
