FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: 5 Players Who Deserve A January Ratings Boost

1. Jordan Henderson - Liverpool

Henderson has come on leaps and bounds this season, and is finally beginning to repay the huge sum Liverpool paid to pry him from Sunderland in 2011. He has started every single league game for Brendan Rodgers up and coming side, who are in with a chance at returning Liverpool to a Champions League position after a lengthy absence. Henderson plays a crucial role in the Liverpool setup, with his runs from midfield preventing Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez from becoming isolated up front. Henderson has shown his creative talents this season, with 5 assists in the league, but one area which he urgently needs to improve upon is his finishing. His single league goal is indicative of his habit to snatch at the chances that are presented to him, meaning that the majority of them are squandered. Regardless of this flaw in his game, Henderson still deserves more than an insulting rating of 75, meaning that he is only just a gold player. This score looks even more harsh when one considers the ineffectual Joe Allen, whose appears to play the game purely for his passing accuracy statistics, is rated 2 points higher at 77.
