5. Legends Mode
EA are bringing in another game mode this year that could just help tip the balance in FIFA's favour - the addition of Legends to the pre-existing Ultimate Team feature. Fans can now add the likes of legendary footballers Pele, Patrick Viera, Freddie Ljungberg, Ruud Gullit and Gary Linekar to their Ultimate Team and take on opponents with a squad bristling with some of the finest players ever to have slipped on a pair of studded boots. It is this ability that we are most looking forward too when FIFA hits shelves later this month - the thought of terrorising defences with Lionel Messi and Pele gets us pretty excited. Now, it's worth pointing out that the Legends mode in Ultimate Team is only available to Xbox users but that being said, it will give the majority of fans something extra to play and do compared to Pro Evolution Soccer's at-times two dimensional and relatively flat 'Master League' and 'Be A Legend' modes.
