Both of these statistical upgrades are justified as any football fan knows that Bale is a ridiculously rapid goal scoring machine. In spite of an ongoing thigh injury in the opening stages of the season Bale still managed to net an impressive 15 league goals for Real Madrid. He also showed that he could seamlessly integrate into the talent-rich squad, playing well alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. With the other signings Real Madrid have made during this transfer window playing alongside the likes of Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo, Real Madrid will surely be the favourites to retain their Champions League title.
