Brazil were horrific in the World Cup. Their style which is normally dripping with style, swagger and creativity looked laboured, predictable and most of all un-Brazilian. The one ray of light in what was a terrible, humiliating campaign on home soil was Neymar. He may not have looked like the world-beater we saw in the 2013 Confederations Cup but the Barcelona forward was still by far the best player on a woeful Brazil team. Prior to tragically fracturing his vertebra in the quarter-final tie with Columbia, Neymar had scored four goals and had looked like Brazils only offensive threat. After suffering the loss, Brazil went on to suffer humiliating 71 and 30 defeats. Though we dont think Neymars presence could have inspired the rudderless Brazil to overcome extremely strong German and Dutch sides, the severity of these loses proves how valuable Neymar is to the team. Assuming that the serious injury doesnt impact Neymars playing capabilities, we believe that he should be nearing a rating of 90 in FIFA 15. Suggested Rating: 88
