6. Felipe Santana
EA SportsTall, athletic centre backs have worked wonders throughout the FIFA series, and Felipe Santana fits the bill perfectly. Standing at 6'4", his 76 acceleration, 84 sprint speed, 82 standing tackle, 80 sliding tackle and 77 strength abilities combine to form one of the most solid defensive powerhouses FIFA 14 has to offer. Despite sitting behind Joel Matip and Benedikt Höwedes in the pecking order at Schalke, the 28-year-old defender's superior physical traits hold him in higher regard than his peers in the context of FIFA. His popularity is further boosted by his Brazilian nationality, which allows him to feature in top-quality hybrid squads in Ultimate Team. It doesn't look like Santana will crack Jens Keller's first-choice pairing in the centre of defence any time soon, but it's also unlikely EA Sports will slash his abilities during the peak years of his career.
