FIFA 15: Celtic Player Rating Predictions

4. Stefan Johansen - 75

FIFA 14 Rating: 73 Perhaps because of the lack of Old Firm games and the close rivalry at the top of the league that traditionally pushes Celtic to play to their best strengths, a lot of the better Hoops players in last year's game started out with relatively conservative ratings in comparison to their potential. Stefan Johansen - who only joined the club in January - was one such player, given a starting base of 73, but a potential rating of around 80, and while it is Scott Brown and Kris Commons who are the beating heart of the Celtic midfield, the Norwegian is just as key. In 2013, the highly-rated centre-midfielder won the Danish midfielder of the year award, and he has already announced himself to Celtic with some good displays in the second half of the season. In FIFA 14, his progress to 80 and above tended to be impressively quick, and he gained a reputation as something of a goal-scoring machine despite his pace and speed not matching up to Brown's. Again, it seems likely that his starting rating will be lower than his potential - which should be pushed as high as 82 or so - and he will undoubtedly be one of the more valuable Celtic players in the game.
