The PES-FIFA war will continue to rage on, with vociferous support on either side of the debate despite the latter's market dominance. But one area that PES simply can't compete with is FIFA's stranglehold of many key naming rights for teams, players, and competitions. Fixtures like West Midlands Village versus Man Blue (Aston Villa vs. Manchester City) and Yorkshire Orange versus West Glamorgan City (Hull vs. Swansea) put scores of fans off investing their money into PES, regardless of how good the gameplay is, and FIFA's dominance is set to grow following strong rumours that they could be set to snatch the UEFA licenses which would allow Champions League and Europa League competition names to be used.
