FIFA 16: 10 Unlikely Players Set To Dominate

Forget the world elite, these are the players you need.

EA can tweak, alter, fix and revamp as much as they like when it comes to FIFA 16, but that won't stop certain players from rising above the crop and becoming fan favourites, far surpassing how talented they actually are in the real world. It's not really an aspect of the game that EA can control. If a player could outpace the roadrunner, they have to make him quick. If a player could wrestle a rhino and win, he's got to be strong. If a player can thread a ball through a drainpipe, they've got to give him a worthy passing stat. Of course, the impact of speed, strength, and technical ability can be altered across the board for a more balanced game, but it's great fun rooting around for hidden gems off the beaten track. We all know Leo Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will flick, trick and rampage their way through defences, but getting them into your team is easier said than done on Career Mode and Ultimate Team. Seydou Doumbia, Victor Ibarbo, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were last year's gems, all of whom were brimming with blistering pace and became some of the most effective players on the game. Now let's take a look at some more stars who may not be at the peak of world football, but will dominate FIFA 16.
