7. AI Players Improved
There's no worse feeling than conceding a goal you couldn't have done anything about, and with one controller and two hands, it's hard to orchestrate 11 players at the same time. For that reason, AI intelligence needs to be excellent, and so far that appears to be the case. Defenders anticipate danger and rush to track back, while they stick legs in the way to intercept, and generally stand firm rather than giving in to the demands of the oncoming attacker. This solidifies the defence, and could even mean the days of cheap tap-in goals are limited.
