Jenkinson had a very good season at West Ham & his overlapping runs from full back were one of the key features to West Ham's early success with the diamond formation. He followed his good season up by being England's best performer in an ultimately disappointing U21 European Championships, but Jenkinson has come on in leaps and bounds since being exposed to consistent first team football, hence signing a new 5 year contract at Arsenal. His 71 rating from last year puts him in the same bracket as Phil Bardsley (71), Tony Hibbert (72) & Geoff Cameron (73) but his performances for West Ham last year should put him up with the likes of Angel Rangel (75), Kyle Walker (77) & Rafael (77). Going forward is where Jenkinson excels, making more assists, key passes & creating more chances than Rangel, Walker Bardsley & Rafael, whilst his defensive contribution is solid his lack of strength means he's poor in the air and only wins 40% of his duels on the ground. A rating of 74 would seem fair following a successful season at West Ham.
