Now this is a no-brainer this year. Lionel Messi is arguably the greatest player of all time, and if his free kicks weren't overpowered enough, they certainly look due an upgrade after his two set-piece goals within nine minutes against Sevilla in the European Super Cup recently.

The Argentina captain's free kick accuracy has slowly picked up in recent years, moving from 89 in FIFA 14 to 90 in FIFA 15, and you can expect it to improve yet again in EA Sports' latest instalment. Messi has the sweetest left foot the world has ever seen, and anything within 35 yards is almost a penalty for the little master.
