FIFA 17: 10 Ratings They Got Wildly Wrong (Based On Last Season)
9. Michail Antonio
FIFA 17 Rating - 76
Much like Leicester City’s extraordinary Premier League title win, few could have predicted that Antonio would end the season as one of the top-flight’s in-form goalscoring midfielders whilst operating in vaguely unfamiliar territory at right full-back in a West Ham side that finished seventh.
A sluggish start to his debut campaign as a Premier League player saw Antonio register just a handful of substitute appearances in the first 14 matches before an injury crisis in December provided an opportunity that he grasped with both hands, starting the next 22 matches in which he contributed an impressive eight goals and seven assists and became an integral cog in the Hammers side both offensively and defensively.
And given that Antonio comprehensively and consistently outperformed a number of elite top-flight players who have, it’s for that reason that he deserves to recognised with a higher rating as his 76-overall makes a mockery of the EA’s ratings system.
