13. Andreas Christensen - Borussia Mönchengladbach (On Loan From Chelsea)
Currently in the midst of a two-year loan deal, Danish defender Andreas Christensen scooped Moncehngladbach's player of the year award for his efforts in the 2015/16 campaign.
The 20 year old can play both centre back and right back, and is a key player in terms of attacking and defending set pieces. He's not regarded as the quickest defender around, but is blessed with an exceptional ability to read the game.
Signed from Brondby's youth team by former Blues boss Andreas Villas Boas, Christensen said "I have chosen Chelsea because they currently play the kind of football I like" - giving some indication of his toughness, both mentally and physically.
