FIFA 17 Striker Ratings: 20 Best Finishers To Guarantee Goals

There are certain players in FIFA who are more valuable than others, no matter what their overall ratings are. Faster players, strong beast attackers and wonderkids are always high on the list, and of course you can add sweet strikers to that. The best finishers can make mediocre players all the more dangerous to play against, adding a goal threat where one might not be with lesser strikers.

So naturally, the players with the best stats for Finishing are just as important to find as the fastest ones.

Unfortunately for last year's second best finisher Carlos Tevez there's no place for him in the top 20, but he's not the only former great to see his rating cut dramatically. Names as eye-catching as Wayne Rooney, Alexandre Lacazette, Hulk and Robin Van Persie are all gone. And so is Jermain Defoe (but not all downgrades are incorrect).

But that means the most gifted strikers of the ball in this year's game is a whole new world of class. Here are the best finishers in FIFA 17 Ultimate Team (not counting special boosted ratings, obviously)...

Finishing Rating: 87

Club: Benfica

Despite reaching the grand old age of 32, Benfica's Brazilian striker Jonas had never previously turned too many heads before coming to Europe with Valencia. He'd scored 42 in one season for Gremio, but in five years, he's scored 72 in total and he failed to particularly dazzle in Spain after his Valencia move.

A subsequent move to Benfica saw an uplift in form and 31 goals in 35 appearances, before 36 in 48 last season. He's been rewarded with dramatically improved stats in FIFA 17, with 87 for Finishing, and really good stats across the board for an attacker. 85 for Curve is also pretty bloody eye-catching.
