FIFA 18: 7 Players Who Can’t Be Happy With Their Rating
7. Michy Batshuayi
Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi is behind new boy Álvaro Morata in the Chelsea pecking order. If Diego Costa hadn't fallen out with boss Antonio Conte, it makes sense to believe Michy would be behind him too. Put plainly, the 23-year old forward is viewed as youth potential more than a regular starter for the Blues.
In FIFA 17, he was rated 81 overall and possessed great pace as well as solid dribbling. That speed has taken a hit this year. Batshuayi's pace has fallen from 83 in FIFA 17 to just 79 this time around. Dribbling has also suffered, dropping from 79 to 77. The question is: what happened, and why have EA decreased the young striker's stats?
Now rated 80, Batshuayi took to Twitter and expressed his unhappiness at the drop. EA's reply was short and the developer encouraged Michy to keep scoring goals. That prompted the Chelsea man to then have a quick dig at EA' server problems.
All joking aside, his fall from 81 to 80 makes little sense.
