It's almost FIFA season again. EA Sports will release the latest instalment the world's favourite football series on September 29th, with certain pre-order packages giving buyers the chance to play the game three days early. The hype is about to hit overdrive, and while all signs point towards another year of minor evolution rather than complete revolution, FIFA 18 will fly off the shelves regardless.

Although Ultimate Team has usurped it the most popular way to experience FIFA, there's still plenty of fun to be had in Career Mode. Much of this comes from scouting, signing, and developing talented youngsters in the hope of unearthing the next Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi.

Acquiring exciting young talent is no easy task, however, and FIFA's immense player database can often be nightmarish to traverse. Fortunately, we've done some of the hard work for you.

FIFA 18 will be awash with wonderkids, and these guys should top the talent pile. Sign them up, and they'll serve you for years. Provided you have the budget, of course...

10. Malang Sarr (Nice)

AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain have dominated French football over the past couple of seasons, but the rise of OGC Nice shouldn't be understated. Lucien Favre's side have been one of Ligue 1's most exciting teams to watch lately, and after finishing fourth in 2015-16, they were able to go one better last season, with 15 goals from Mario Balotelli spurring them towards the top three.

Although the former Manchester City lightning rod has captured the headlines, much of Nice's success come from their youth system. The club haven't been shy when it comes to throwing youngsters into their starting XI, with 18 year Malang Sarr emerging as one of their most important players.

Sarr only made his professional debut last August, but as established himself as a first choice pick with a string of commanding performances at the heart of Nice's defence. As strong in the air as he is comfortable in possession, he is one of Ligue 1's biggest breakout stars, and clubs like Arsenal are reportedly looking at him. Already an extremely promising player in FIFA 17, expect him to be one of this year's most sought after defenders.
