James Wilson: 69

Zachary Dearnley: 63

Angel Gomes: 63

The biggest surprise among Manchester United's FIFA 18 forwards is that Zlatan Ibrahimovic, not Romelu Lukaku, is the Red Devils' highest rated forward. The Swede has declined from last year's 90 overall, but still beats his Belgian counterpart by two points, though this'll soon change.

Lukaku's potential sits at 90, while Zlatan, at 35, is only going to decline as the campaign progresses. Throw Zlatan's cloudy injury status and Lukakua's blistering start to the season into the mix, and it's unlikely that the former PSG man's ratings supremacy will continue beyond FIFA 18's first few stat updates.

Regardless, the Belgian's superior athleticism (89 sprint speed, 82 acceleration) means most players will likely start him ahead of Ibrahimovic anyway.

Marcus Rashford's rating has increased to 79 this year, and he could potentially hit 88 overall, meaning he'll eventually become one of the best forwards in the game. There's not a lot going on beneath him, though: James Wilson likely won't improve far beyond his current level, while Dearnley and Gomes are pure fuller.
