FIFA 19: 10 Things EA Should Steal From PES

1. The Champions League License

PES 2018

Above all else, it's time for EA to snatch exclusivity for UEFA's most prestigious competitions and offer a fully-licensed Champions League and Europa League set in FIFA 19.

UEFA have already announced that their 10-year partnership with Konami will come to an end after this year's Champions League final in Kiev. EA will be the most interested onlooker there, because it means they may finally get their hands on the most important footy licenses outside the Premier League.

Hearing that official Champions League theme blare from the TV in Career Mode would feel like one of FIFA's most significant steps in years. It could also badly damage the appeal PES has to some players and force a rethink for those cash-strapped fans who save every penny to buy both Konami and EA's product every year.

With the Champions League (and the Europa League to a lesser extent) tacked on to the already impressive number of EA licences, FIFA 19 would be the much bigger game.
