FIFA 20 Career Mode: 10 Players You Need To Buy First

4. Vinícius Jr. (Real Madrid)

Vinicius Jr. cost Real Madrid a whopping £40 million in January 2018, so don’t be expecting to pick up the young Brazilian for cheap.

Sometimes, though, you just have to bite the bullet and stump up the cash if you want to land a truly magnificent player.

At 19 years of age and rating 79 when Career Mode start, Vinicius Jr. already has pace stats of 93 and dribbling of 84 that make him a true menace to defenders. But what’s more interesting is how the left-sided forward can develop as time goes by.

If you handle Vinicius Jr. in the right way and develop him properly with correct training sessions and plenty of time on the pitch, this is somebody who has the potential to reach a 92 overall rating for you – which is a number that will make him one of the best players in FIFA 20 once you get to four or five seasons in.

Once described as the Swiss Army Knife of WhatCulture, Andrew can usually be found writing, editing, or presenting on a wide range of topics. As a lifelong wrestling fan, horror obsessive, and comic book nerd, he's been covering those topics professionally as far back as 2010.
