FIFA 20 Career Mode: 10 Teams You Must Play With

7. Real Betis

Forget the untouchable class of Barcelona. Forget the big-money signings of Real Madrid. Even forget the grit and power of Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.

If you’re looking to start a Career Mode in Spain, Real Betis is the team for you.

Should you indeed choose to go with Betis, the midfield in place at the outfit is already a strong one that is enough to give you a decent base to work with. Sergio Canales (84) offers classy creativity, Nabil Fekir (84) is always likely to pop up with goals, William Carvalho (83) is the defensive powerhouse, and Andres Guardado (81) is a technically gifted workhouse.

Marc Batra (83) and Sidnei (80) provide a solid central defensive partnership, with right-back Emerson (71) having enough potential to push him to an 80+ rating. Likewise, 80+ ratings are waiting around the corner for teenagers Diego Lainez (72) and Robert (66).

Up top, 26-year-old Borja Iglesias (83) is a great focal point and has scope to see his overall rating improve as time goes by, and Christian Tello (80) is a versatile forward with pace to burn.

Oh, and who doesn’t relish the prospect of giving a swansong season to the iconic Joaquin (80), who’ll have turned 39 shortly after your first season in charge comes to an end.
