FIFA 21: 10 Improvements To Ultimate Team We Want To See

3. More Realistic Stats

So this is a gripe that many people have had with FIFA as a whole for quite some time now, but it also applies directly to Ultimate Team.

While the world's most well-known players are pretty well detailed, the realism of player stats falls off a cliff for those not plying their trade in Europe's most prestigious divisions.

Perhaps the worst offender for this is that of pace. Okay, so I can admit that football is a meritocracy and that just because I think my local League 2 team's cult hero deserves a gold card doesn't necessarily mean he should have one, but players from lower-league teams can be every bit as fast as their Premier League counterparts even if they're not quite as technical but currently FIFA fails to account for this.

This shouldn't even be a problem for EA, the Football Manager series manages to get (mostly) accurate player ratings on a yearly basis by using a network of volunteer scouts, so surely the most profitable football game in the world can do the same.
