Well, isn't this a turn-up for the books? It's only Lionel bloody Messi in the top spot, the exact position he occupied last season. Though the Argentine didn't have a bad season by any human standard, it was by far his worst in some time (though obviously, better than just about anybody's), with perhaps the most notable incident being his close season transfer request.

Still, via the aforementioned Ronaldo clause, he retains an iron grip on FIFA's premier berths. Would a move from Barcelona change that?
