FIFA 22: 10 Biggest Changes You Need To Know
3. Create Your Club - Career Mode
Career Mode has badly needed an overhaul for years, but this year EA Sports appear to have addressed this. The big new addition is the ability to create your own club from scratch, including name, badge, kits and stadium.
While kits and badges see you pick from set options, there are lots of options for colours, patterns and numbers to make the team feel just like your own. Given a lot of these features have been in the game previously with Pro Clubs, it is surprising it has taken this long for it to be added to Career Mode.
Once you've created a club, you will be given the option to take over the spot of a current team to take their place in a division before playing out your Career Mode as normal.
It is a great addition and one that will allow fans of teams not in the game to take their team to the field, as well as allowing others to let their imaginations run wild. This is an addition that should have been in FIFA for a long time, but it will be a big pull for many and should see lots of players try Career Mode when they normally would stick to playing online.
