FIFA 18 marked the last decent FIFA to date. For the second consecutive year, Ultimate Team saw a huge addition - 'Squad Building Challenges'. This section within FUT quickly became one of the most popular within the mode. Like FUT Champs, SBC's allowed players to get packs for a lot cheaper.

This year's gameplay was quite good. It seemed to find the perfect balance between realism and entertainment.

The thing that sees this game rank so highly though is its World Cup themed content. Not only did it have a separate World Cup mode, but it also had the "Festival Of FUT". This promo was amazing as it saw many players get super-boosted cards.

The Festival Of FUT was the cherry on top of an already strong game.
