Football Manager 2016: 20 Left Backs You Need To Sign

14. Marcos Alonso

Marcos Alonso has enjoyed a bizarre career, but it's really clicking into place for the Spaniard who spent 9 years going through Real Madrid's rigorous academy system. He made one first team appearance for the Spanish giants before making the glamorous move to Bolton Wanderers in 2010. He wasn't particularly favoured for the first team in Lancashire, but still landed a move to Fiorentina, then Sunderland on loan, before returning to Italy where he's now turning heads across Europe. He's the ultimate solid left back, and while he won't improve drastically, he's as reliable as anyone.
