Football Manager 2021: 15 Wonderkids You Must Watch Out For

7. Facundo Pellistri - Penarol

Brazil and Argentina may be the most famous South American countries for developing wonderkids, but that doesn't mean we can't show some love to those around them.

In Uruguay, we have the promising young right-winger Facundo Pellistri, an 18-year-old currently representing his hometown club, Penarol.

His talent is not unknown as he has been scouted by some of Europe's elite - including Real Madrid and Manchester City - with a move to Europe being eased due to his eligibility for a Spanish passport.

Having broken into the first team in 2019, he cemented his place as a regular feature, even making appearances in the Copa Libertadores.

With a passing ability way beyond his years, he could certainly be worth his rumoured £12,000,000 release clause.

As the latest young starlet to emerge from Penarol - who also produced Federico Valverde, Cristian Rodriguez and Nahitan Nandez - Pellistri looks set to conquer Europe's big leagues.
