9. Doğan Alemdar (Rennes)
Alemdar made a move in August from his boyhood club Kayserispor to the Ligue 1 outfit Rennes, where he is currently the second choice keeper behind the Senegalese shot-stopper Alfred Gomis.
Up to now, he's made six league appearances for Les Rouge et Noir, in which he has kept three clean sheets and conceded a total of five goals.
Very much in the mould of a traditional goalkeeper, Alemdar relies on his physical attributes and work rate to command his area and stop the ball from going into his net. Unfortunately, he is pretty awkward with the ball at his feet, so he won't make much of a contribution to build-up play.
Don't let that scare you away, as he still makes a great fit for any team looking to sit back and defend, or a team that concedes a lot of shots and set pieces. Alemdar is more than dependable in those situations, and he will rarely make a costly mistake, even at such a young age.
And with a price estimated between £2.5 - 7.6 million, he is an absolute bargain.
