Not content with introducing new in-game features, Football Manager 2022 will deliver a whole new mode for gamers to sink their teeth into.

The specifics of Versus have yet to be revealed by Sports Interactive, although you can clearly see it's a thing from the above screenshot that SI have put out into the world. Likewise, you can also see that Versus seems to be a mode exclusive to FMFC members.

For those unaware, FMFC is effectively a loyalty program that offers rewards, bonuses and exclusives to those who sign up for it.

Based on the aforementioned screenshot, it would appear that Versus won't be available to play until 2022 rolls around. Still, that should give FM fans a good few months to get themselves deep into a regular save game before trying their hand at Versus.

Given the nature of its title, one has to imagine that Versus will pit FMFC members up against one another in some form or fashion, with Football Manager fans forever famously wanting to one-up each other when it comes to flexing their managerial muscles.
