Club: Bayer 04 Leverkusen

Nationality: Dutch

Price: £35 million

For the past few years, Jeremie Frimpong has been a brilliant young player who many an FM enthusiast would eventually end up adding to their ranks. Here in Football Manager 2022, it's again the case that the young Dutchmen is well worth you time.

Starting starts of 17 for pace and acceleration, 15 for agility, and 14s for work rate, stamina and technique should tell you all you need to know about this athletic 20-year-old. Rather than simply a right-back, such stats dovetail in nicely to the fact that the Leverkusen man can play anywhere down your right-hand side.

To land the former Celtic star, going in with a straight-up £35 million bid should be enough to get the job done. If you opt to go in lower, Leverkusen will tend to push back and demand something closer to £50 million plus add-ons.

In real life, Frimpong has only gone from strength to strength since he exited Manchester City in 2019, and he similarly continues to improve time and time again as your FM22 career progresses.
