Football Manager 2022: 10 Signings You Must Make Every Time

8. Kyle Hudlin

The Solihull Moors man would likely be best as a great value signing for a Football League side, although this towering striker was even linked with a move to Manchester City this summer. At 6'9" he is the tallest professional outfield player in the UK, and would have even loomed over the 6'7" Peter Crouch.

Some may question where the ceiling lies for a player who is in non-league at the age of 21, but this displays an ignorance of recent English football history. Strikers in particular have shown that it is possible to make a massive jump up the leagues once things click into place.

Ian Wright, Jamie Vardy, Michail Antonio, Charlie Austin, and Jarrod Bowen have all turned a ludicrous non-league goal scoring record into a successful Premier League career, with Wright and Vardy both lifting titles and becoming England internationals.

Hudlin's physical attributes would cause problems for defenders at all levels, and with The Moors being a step up from the even lower level he had played at as a youngster, we would not bet against him catching fire and being the next name on that list.
