Gamescom 2018: 14 Things We Learned
6. Halo: The Master Chief Collection Heads To Xbox Game Pass On September 1
Though those pre-Gamescom rumours about Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Metro Exodus coming to Game Pass day-and-date sadly turned out to be bunk, Microsoft did confirm that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will hit the service on September 1.
The collection includes anniversary editions of the first two Halo games, alongside Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4, and though the anthology was controversial upon release for its matchmaking issues, it's certainly a great value proposition for Game Pass.
Microsoft also added that the collection will be getting Xbox One X enhancements, refined matchmaking and new custom features, all due to be patched in on September 1 also.
Considering how upset fans were by the original release of TMCC, this could be one hell of a turnaround for the game. Fingers crossed.
