Gears 5 Is Getting Terminator: Dark Fate Pre-Order DLC

Occassionally, you'll probably find yourself absent-mindedly wondering who would win in a fight between Marcus Fenix and the T-800 from the Terminator movies. Because there's nothing better than smushing two entirely separate worlds together for fantasy matches that could never otherwise happen.
Or, at least it COULDN'T ever happen until now, sort of, because the worlds of Gears Of War and Terminator have now come together for an unholy alliance thanks to the upcoming Gears 5.
As part of the Xbox E3 press conference, Microsoft have confirmed that the upcoming release will feature a character pack inspired by upcoming film Terminator: Dark Fate, bringing together two dystopian nightmares for one fan-friendly marriage.
Ever wanted to see a T-800 Endoskeleton wielding a Lancer gun? Well now's your chance, because the announcement also came with a cool-looking teaser:
The Terminator: Dark Fate character pack - which will include the T-800 and Sarah Connor (as voiced by Linda Hamilton) - is set to be a free bonus at launch for pre-orders and will also be made freely available to anyone with a Game Pass membership who buys and plays the game within the first week of release.
Gears 5 is set to be released on Xbox One and PC on Sept. 10th, 2019.
