GOD OF WAR IV Coming September 2012?

New Zealand retailer MightyApe (since removed) has listed God of War IV in their sales database with an estimated release date of September 28th, 2012.

We've been tipped off before that God of War IV was either in development or gearing up to begin development and now IGN have spotted a little more fuel to add to the fire. The New Zealand retailer MightyApe (since removed) has listed God of War IV in their sales database with an estimated release date of September 28th, 2012. Before we all get too excited, they have set the pre-order price at an astonishing $114.99, so we can presume there is at least one mistake in their listing. I can't imagine God of War IV is going to retail at that price. Still, we have heard the God of War IV is in the works and a job listing on the recruitment site Creative Heads last month seemed to confirm as much. Back then they were looking for a person to start "immediately." We still however await confirmation from Sony that a new game is in development.
