5. Making The Whole Game Playable In VR
It’s no secret that Virtual Reality gaming remains a niche and expensive concept. PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive… all of these systems have done some incredible things and hinted to the true potential of their tech, but they just haven’t brought players those killer apps. The titles that would have fans throwing money at the screen like Fry in that Futurama meme.
If there’s any title that would carry that kind of cachet, it would be a Virtual Reality compatible GTA VI. Interestingly, this could (but probably won't) be exactly what we get.
It’s been suggested that the game will feature not only select VR sections, but the entire adventure will be playable this way. Of course, this is a very costly (and risky) idea which may be a pipe dream, but it could have huge connotations on the future of virtual reality gaming if it does prove to be the case.
