GTA Trilogy Remake: 10 Missions We Can't Wait To Play (& 10 We're DREADING)
9. Dreading: Wrong Side Of The Tracks - GTA San Andreas
On paper, Wrong Side of the Tracks sounds like everything that a good GTA mission should have.
You've got shooting. You've got motorbikes. You've got chasing down a moving train packed with armed goons.
So why, oh why, is it so damn frustrating to complete?
Well, there's one answer to that question, and it's this: Big Smoke.
To kill the enemies in this mission you're almost entirely reliant on Big Smoke and his terrible shooting abilities. As CJ, your job is to steer your trusty Sanchez motorbike through oncoming trains, dodging scenery as you go and hoping you won't mistime a jump and fall off your bike.
The idea is you need to get close enough to the train that Big Smoke can shoot down all the rival gang members. Only problem is Smoke's seems incapable of hitting anything unless he's basically right on top of it, leading to many failed missions where you've fallen off the bike and not been able to catch up in time (the mission automatically fails if they get as far as the Franklin Bridge).
