So it had to be Trevor really, didn't it? Rockstar's newest psychopath is different because he's also a protagonist. The player's first introduction to Trevor is when he has a run in with the Lost MC, and if you've played The Lost and Damned for GTA IV, you may feel slightly disgusted by what he does next. It is a brutal introduction to the character and really, it only gets worse from there. Trevor Phillips is wild and unhinged. His company, Trevor Phillips Industries, seems to only have one thing on its business plan - kill everyone. Oh, and maybe sell some meth. As the story progresses, Trevor carries out torture, brutally murders people, takes a man's wife hostage and continues his one man rampage. The fact that the player has front row seats to this circus of horrors only adds to the discomfort. Trevor is an unbelievably complex character, and was clearly quite a gamble for Rockstar. It is good news, then, that the gamble seems to have paid off. Oh, and he's afraid of clowns. So, there we have it. The 10 greatest characters in GTA V. Who do you think is the best character?
