3. More Helicopters/Planes Than Ever?
Also contained on the list of vehicles that will supposedly be making an appearance in GTA V according to the hidden source code found on Max Payne 3's disc is no fewer than 22 planes and helicopters. That would make GTA V by far the most aviation-friendly game in the series to date and would also more than make up for the lack of planes in GTA IV. On the list of planes and helicopters were - ANNHIL, MAVERICK, PH_HELI, ANDROM, FIGHTER, AUTOGYRO, HIND, NAPALM, SCAMP, BENTHAM, HELI_LUXURY, HELI_VCPF, HELI_CP, HELI_TFE, HELI_UFE, HELI_CS, HELI_REBEL, PH_HELI, DODO, CUBAN800 and BCHOPPER. From these abbreviations we are able to make educated guesses as to what will be included, for instance, ANNHIL clearly refers to the Annihilator helicopter, while the MAVERICK is self explanatory. ANDROM is the Andromeda found in San Andreas while the Fighter is a plane that has already appeared in screenshots. The SCAMP is possibly a type of stunt plane while we can only assume the HELI_LUXURY is some sort of first class helicopter for Los Santos' finest citizens. The rest I suppose you can make up your own minds on, but if it is true that we will have so many flyable vehicles in GTA V, we are ecstatic.
