5. The Protagonist Will Be From an Existing GTA Crime Family
Perhaps the most important element of any GTA game is the protagonist. Over the years GTA has featured some of the most well-loved characters in gaming; CJ; Tommy Vercetti; even Niko Bellic must at least be considered innovative, after all, how often is the main character in a video game an Eastern European? Rarely-to-never, thats how often. But who is this new guy? Undoubtedly, thats one thing were all dying to find out. Over the years Rockstar have effectively created their own little GTA world, a world thats ruled by one universal law: crime does pay, so long as youre the main character. We know from the trailer that the protagonist in GTA has moved to Los Santos to escape a life of crime; we also know that, as the GTA universe is as corrupt there as it is anywhere else, that he gets pulled back in. My prediction here is that GTA Vs protagonist will (perhaps obviously) hail from an existing GTA City, and furthermore, that hell be related to an existing GTA crime family. Which one, thats anybodys guess, but there are plenty to choose from: the Pegorinos or the Messinas from GTA IV or perhaps the Vances from Vice City, hell, the list goes on. One things for sure, Rockstar love referencing themselves, so this prediction could perhaps be considered a dead cert.
