8. The Things Weve Done
Think back over youre GTA play history, and just remember some of things youve done. Youve gone on killing sprees for no reason other than boredom; youve beaten senior citizens to death with your bare hands; youve visited prostitutes, only to murder them when youre done and steal back your money. Basically, youve acted like nothing short of a fully initiated serial murderer. And I bet you had immense fun doing it, am I right? One of the reasons GTA has caused such a stink over the years is invariably what it says about us as a species. We dont have to do these things as part of any story (although the story itself is controversial enough). All that Rockstar have effectively done here is give us the freedom of choice and an environment in which we dont have to suffer the consequences of our actions. We filled in the rest. And GTA V will be no different. For that reason, as it does every time, itll upset more than a few people.
