4. Randomised Dynamic Missions

In the November 8th issue of Game Informer last year, Rockstar announced the inclusion of
randomised dynamic missions in GTA V. Then, the developers provided certain examples of these random encounters, as they are to be known, such as encountering a broken down car or a hitchhiker on the side of the road. It was then stated that players could approach the situation, which may extend this ordinary occurrence on to something much more.
Red Dead Redemption and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim incorporated a similar feature and in each of those games the feature made exploring the wilderness a much more unpredictable pastime. In previous GTA titles, you could walk up and down a road or countryside for hours at a time and experience nothing new, as lifeless, un-interactive AI pedestrians file past you in a state of drudged, scripted conformity. That is now a thing of the past.
