GTA V: 5 Reasons Why The Delay Isn't Such A Bad Thing

4. More Time To Make The Game As Good As Possible

gtav_protagonist3 Rockstar aren't holding off on releasing GTA V just to spite us. They're doing it for a very good reason, and that is to make the game as good as possible. Rockstar even stated as much themselves when they posted the following statement on Newswire earlier this week:
€œTo those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they€™re all nonsense €“ literally the only reason we€™ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be.€
As already mentioned, providing us with quite possibly one of the biggest maps to explore in gaming history is a huge undertaking on Rockstar's behalf and anyone who has played The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will know that one of the consequences of having such a huge area of terrain to explore is lag, longer loading times and glitches. I'd prefer it if Rockstar took the extra time to iron out any creases in the game instead of releasing a title teaming with bugs and errors.
