5. Are There Recurring Characters?
The rumour mill has gone into overdrive in the year that has passed since GTA V's announcement as to whether or not there will be recurring characters. Many have speculated that the protagonist in GTA V is an aged Tommy Vercetti from Vice City, whilst some have suggested that San Andreas' protagonist Carl Johnson can be seen in a screenshot (above). We don't know, really, but both of these theories have been relatively dismissed by the gaming community. On a personal level, I'd love to see a main character from a former GTA game make an appearance - just so we can find out what they did with their lives after we left them on the PS2/Xbox.
