GTA V Screenshots: Sunsets, Seas, Skies Unveiled
At long last the wait for new Grand Theft Auto V material is over. Fans have been kept in the dark by the developers, Rockstar Games, for much of the year regarding new content, having only been treated to two trailers and a few screenshots - the last batch of which were released shortly before Christmas. Rockstar apologised recently over the absence of GTA updates but they have more than made up for it today with the official unveiling of 10 new stills. The new screens depict sky and scuba diving, helicopters, cars, bikes and a very atmospheric lightning storm above a pier. GTA V is due for release on September 17th this year, and is currently scheduled for release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, while a release on PC is also thought to be likely. For the first time in its history it features three protagonists and boasts a huge open world bigger in scale to that of Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV combined. Outside of missions, the player is free to swap between the protagonists and explore the game's open world, which includes a fully-fledged ecosystem, along with a "vibrant and fun" economy system.
