Close to the top of the list of what folks want from GTA VI - for a lot of people - is the idea of Rockstar casting a strong, well-written female protagonist. Traditionally, Grand Theft Auto has treated women like sex objects, sometimes in a harmless way, but it'd still be nice to see the developers level things out a little and give female players the chance to live vicariously through their own interesting heroine. This would represent a major step for GTA, because to date there hasn't been a female player-controlled character, and it's time that changed. Whether people like it or not, women have different strengths and weaknesses to men, and that's something that could make for a very intriguing piece of social commentary from Rockstar, and wouldn't that be interesting? GTA is often criticised for being loud, proud, dumb and offensive, but GTA VI needs to create experiences everyone can enjoy, regardless of gender. The series is long overdue a female protagonist, and if there are going to be multiple main characters in VI, one of them should definitely be a woman.
