GTA VI: 9 Things That Must Happen In 2018

5. Co-Op Confirmed

It was a missed trick that Rockstar didn't attempt to include two-player co-op in GTA V. Despite featuring three playable characters, the single-player campaign was still very much a solo experience, with the ability to explore Los Santos with friends being limited to the online portion of the game.

Which was a shame, because the vast majority of the main missions featured at least two of the three characters together. The heists in the story could have been even more intense if you had a friend with you, as proven by the popularity and success of the same feature in GTA Online.

Even if they didn't want to alter the structure of the main campaign so it always featured two characters, they still could have allowed multiple players to team up and go wild in the single-player's sandbox, either allowing them to complete side-missions or make their own fun.

Considering the popularity of GTA Online, the developers need to confirm co-op for the single-player portion of the sixth game next year.
