Hell Let Loose: 10 Reasons It's The Most Brutal WW2 Shooter Ever
3. Audio Presentation
Hell Let Loose is certainly not a bad looking game although it’s unlikely to blow anyone away with its ‘no frills’ visuals, however, where the game really does shine is in its audio presentation, which is simply incredible and goes a long way to fully immersing players in the conflict.
Gunshots pack a loud punch that can be heard from way across large areas of the map, bullets fly past a player with a tell-tale whiz if they are close and explosions resonate with a thunderous boom that will intimidate the most experienced of players.
This all comes together to create some of the most spectacular audio ever in a WW2 game and is a testament to the work that Black Matter have done to recreate an authentic soundscape of warfare.
Playing Hell Let Loose with a set of good quality headphones on or on a home cinema setup is truly a treat as every explosion and gunshots adds to the immersion and brings the player as close to warfare as anyone is likely to ever want to be.
