24. Poison Ivy

Easily one of the worst characters to come up against when the A.I. decides to squish your latest victory streak into mush, Ivy is the kind of character you need to smash through a barrier of accessibility to even get your head around.

As covered in my list of essential character special moves, you can unlock a couple of attacks that essentially juggle opponents with repeated vine-stabs, though this also means that in the wrong hands, Pamela gets very cheap, very quick.

Oh, and don't get me started on what is essentially a 'turret' she can place on the field, in the form of a small, acid-spewing pet. If you find yourself being juggled between vines, acid-spits and Ivy's 'will-hit-no-matter-what' grapple, there's a lot to suggest her character is straight-up broken and in desperate need of a nerf.
