Jedi Fallen Order: 10 Star Wars Games EA MUST Make Next
4. Battle Of The Sith Lords
Battle of the Sith Lords was conceived by the brains at Red Fly Studio, who had worked with LucasArts porting several Star Wars games to the Nintendo Wii.
It would have given players the reigns to one of the prequel trilogy's only high points - Darth Maul.
Maul only got one outing on the big screen, but proved so popular that he was brought back - both to the series and from the dead - for numerous expanded universe projects. Red Fly wanted to capitalise on this and make him the protagonist of their Star Wars game.
Unfortunately, things get a little messy from here. Due to creative disputes with LucasArts, a bizarre meeting with George Lucas, and that pesky buyout, the game ended up in the scrapheap.
However, Red Fly did actually render some footage of the game and it can even be viewed on their corporate website. So there is still hope this could get made.
Darth Maul remains an incredibly popular Star Wars character and the chance to play as him creates so many amazing options.
The ball is now firmly in EA's court.
