2. The Return Of Final Fantasy Characters
Arguably the biggest missing feature of Kingdom Hearts 3 was the Final Fantasy characters.
As much as it can be argued that the Kingdom Hearts characters have become more and more important, especially in their own franchise, it still feels like a bit of a slap in the face to only have a Moogle in the final entry.
Final Fantasy is as much a part of the Kingdom Hearts universe as Disney is, and it's a big part of what made the franchise so successful in the first place. Sure, Disney is probably the bigger draw overall but to Final Fantasy fans seeing these characters mattered.
Not only that but since Kingdom Hearts 2 there have been so many great characters that could have been introduced into the series for the first time. Noctis and the chocobros anyone?
Many of the Final Fantasy stories were needing closure as well. What happened to Zack? What happened to Sephiroth and Cloud after their battle?
Final Fantasy needs to come back in some way through Final MIx, it's as simple as that.
